She is a graduate of DeLand High School and the University of Florida. She graduated with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1981.
Ms. Fine is a Florida native born in Orlando, Florida and raised in DeLand. She is a graduate of DeLand High School and the University of Florida. She graduated with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1981. After graduation she practiced as an associate with the Gainesville firm of Watson, Folds, Steadham, Sproull, Christmann & Brashear, P.A. from 1981- 1983.
She taught legal research and writing at the University of Florida college of Law. From 1993-1998 she practiced as a partner in the law firm of Springfield & Fine, P.A. specializing in criminal defense law. She is a past president of the Eighth Judicial Circuit chapter of The Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and as a member of the Criminal Law Section of the Florida Bar Association she published an article in the Florida Criminal law journal on preservation of appellate issues after the Criminal Appeal Reform Act of 1996.
She has been associated with the firm of Fine, Farkash & Parlapiano, P.A. since 2003 and a partner since 2008. She regularly participates as an instructor in the Trial Advocacy course that the Honorable Stephan P. Mickle teaches at the University of Florida Levin College of Law and as a judge for the Appellate Advocacy program.
