Home City:  Orange Park, Florida
Home State:  Florida
Place Of Birth:  Jackson, Mississippi

I grew up in Orange Park, attended FSU's School of Business, and graduated with an Accounting degree, prior to attending the University of Georgia School of Law.  I graduated in 1982 and began my legal practice doing real estate and real estate finance work with the Haynes and Boone law firm of Dallas, Texas.  I left to practice with the Baptist Foundation of Texas as in-house counsel, and then served as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for Southwest Savings in Dallas, Texas.  I returned to Florida in 1991, and attended The Graduate Tax Program at the University of Florida College of Law.  I opened my own practice in Orange Park in 1992 upon my graduation, and have been in solo or small firm practice here ever since.  Our firm principally practices in the areas of Elder Law, Medicaid Planning, Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Administration, Real Estate and Local Government Law.  I am married to Peggy A. Williams, the Autism Curriculum Coordinator for the Clay County School Board, and have two adult children, Allen and Allison.  Allen is a recent Cornell University graduate, and is currently a page for NBC/Universal in Los Angeles, California.  Allison is a Junior at the Grady College of Journalism at the University of Georgia in Athens.  She is bilingual (double major in Spanish) and hopes to enjoy a broadcast journalism career upon her graduation later this year.
